Question: Mr. Feeser, you have been Managing Director of Caparol Industrial Solutions GmbH since the start of 2015 – are you happy with your team?
Ulrich Feeser: Yes, the team is super and we are currently expanding it. Dr. Hübner is a good example of optimum reinforcement. He has lots of knowledge and expertise on the polymer side, that is in the field of colour and function masterbatches. We have been able to engage him as a permanent employee and it is clear that we would like to support Dr. Hübner further in the future, for example, with a follow-on qualification programme and in the scope of the "Young Forum", a forum in our parent company, DAW SE. Particularly career starters can profit well from this interesting network.
Question: Dr. Hübner, what attracted your attention to Caparol Industrial Solutions?
Dr. Matthias Hübner: I studied plastics engineering at the Martin Luther University Halle/Wittenberg. After my diploma project I decided on doctoral studies – in engineering degree courses there is a lot of co-operation with the industry. In this connection Caparol Industrial Solutions approached my professor with a subject which even now I am still working on – the masterbatch project. In the four years of our co-operation I was able to work on important content for my doctorate and finish it successfully.
Question: What did you like about the co-operation during this period?
Dr. Matthias Hübner: We always met on an equal footing; also personally it was very congenial and never like a relationship between a client and a service provider.
Question: You have been employed at Caparol Industrial Solutions since January 2015. What does the company mean to you?
Dr. Matthias Hübner: I am working in a large company, but still have quick access to decision-makers on site – so many things can be pushed forward quickly. Also, DAW SE under whose umbrella we work, is a very fair employer with many advantages.
Frage: Mr. Feeser, what reasoning do you have for potential new employees?
Ulrich Feeser: We are an ambitious company with a dynamic team and very interesting projects – especially in the field of industrial colour concentrates. We want to carry on growing and therefore we will also need good people in the future. I can only invite anyone who has appropriate background knowledge and is interested in our world to come and join forces with us.
